Milk & Cookies Baby Shower

I hosted a baby shower last weekend for my friend, Robyn.  I went with the theme of Milk & Cookies, something very simple, but sweet at the same time.  So, I thought I'd post some pictures from the shower to give others some ideas if they have a shower to give coming up...

I made six different kinds of cookies.  I went with Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Oreo Truffles, Carrot Cookies, Fudge Cookies filled with Peppermint Frosting, and Snickerdoodles.  We had milk, chocolate milk, and strawberry milk - the perfect pairings with cookies.

Everything was so much fun!  I can't wait for my next party to host!!

  1. fun! what a cute idea! hey so how do you get your snickerdoodles to be soft instead of crunchy here in idaho? i have tried everything i can think of but i still get hard snickerdoodles. i have no problems with my other cookies just those!

  2. Audra, I'll have to give you my recipe. The texture is perfect - I think. I wish I would have taken pictures of the process. Maybe I'll just post the recipe without pictures.

  3. What a great concept for a shower. I think this would make a great theme for any type of party, really. And our cookie menu -- wow!

  6. These look delicious! I really want to taste these right now. I am also planning a birthday party for my friend who is such a big fan of eating. We’re celebrating in a great event space San Francisco has that is known for the cookies and cakes. I think he’ll really like that!
